The Addams Family features an original story, and it's every father's nightmare. Wednesday Addams, the ultimate princess of darkness, has grown up and fallen in love with a sweet, smart young man from a respectable family - a man her parents have never met. And if that weren't upsetting enough, Wednesday confides in her father and begs him not to tell her mother. Now, Gomez Addams must do something he's never done before - keep a secret from his beloved wife, Morticia. Everything will change for the whole family on the fateful night they host a dinner for Wednesday's "normal" boyfriend and his parents.

Stages performances improve the community by encouraging young performers to use and share their talents to help others. The performances of Stages’ production ofThe Addams Family help Hillside Family of Agencies. During each of our performances, we will be collecting toiletry donations (new and unused men’s and women’s deodorant, body wash, body spray, shampoo, conditioner etc.) for their youth in care. We encourage audience members to participate. Hillside works with youth and families to ensure that every youth reaches his or her full potential. They help strengthen families, keep youth in school, and help youth and families face a wide range of behavioral and emotional challenges. They’re the first place families turn for advice and help, not just in time of crisis, but through all stages of parenting.
